  1. Well, Vera didn't speak much so hard to tell if her death is good or bad news. Another townie death at this point would imply that this serial killer is likely aligned with the scum. Wilem contacted me privately, and while he had little to add over what he already mentioned in public, his words could be those of a honest person. Still, there's no solid argument against Dmitri. Are we about to choose between two townies? If it is the case, I beg him to tell us before it's too late. There may be some vital information we're missing here.
  2. Because the evidence against Dmitri was lacking, and still is. And the alternative was voting for you, which didn't sound like the right thing either. I'm sure we're just fighting amongst each other while scum are laughing their megablocks off. We heard this many times already, and what annoys me the most is that those using Stanislav's last message to cast suspicion won't ever be held responsible if they're wrong about Dmitri or Denis. They will only admit that Stanislav was wrong and apologise for following his lead, and go on with their lives. It's completely risk-free. On the other hand, if Dmitri is wrong, he will very likely be lynched tomorrow. It doesn't exclude that he could be scum himself, but either way for the town it's a step in the right direction.
  3. It would seem that we are finally making progress in finding the scum hiding among us. I'm surprised about Willem, but it would explain the energy he spent trying to get Dmitri lynched while being otherwise quite silent. However, we must hope that this curse that prevents us from finding out alignments is lifted by tomorrow, or we won't know if Dmitri is lying or telling the truth. The presence of two mafia groups do raise the possibility of a scum investigator as Samuel mentions, so we should keep this in mind tomorrow as the alignment of Willem is (hopefully) revealed. Moreover, what about the hula girl? Will we know if the victim of the poisoner is scum or townie? This is quite a cruel punishment for not lynching yesterday. Do you mean like a resurrection?
  4. I'm sorry, I'm not buying what is happening here today. I have no proof that Dmitri is scum or town, yet I'm not ready to lynch our last action in order to prove the pet theory of a dead man. Yes, last action as I don't believe we even have a watcher/tracker/peeping tom anymore. Perhaps we had one once, but lately the fragmentary information coming from those who claim being in contact with this person only helped us lynch our own. I'm not lynching on gut feeling. Logically, I'd rather vote for Denis to test Stanislav's theory if I really wanted to, and curiously nobody in this lynch mob even considers this option. Stanislav didn't mention that one was more scum than the other. Don't tell me that you want to get rid of a scum investigator, what would the scum need with an investigator? If Dmitri is an investigator, then he's town. If he's scum, he might or might not have an action. Either way, I would test it on Denis and see what Stanislav's words are worth. No, the instigators of the bandwagon don't want to consider what logic dictates, and for that reason I'm not following them to our perdition.
  5. Seeing that we're not making any progress, one question springs to mind. With Denis and Dmitri under suspicion yesterday, didn't anyone think of spying on them in any possible way? Didn't anyone attempt to clear them or find evidence to justifiably lynch either one of them? I think I understand why Dmitri didn't investigate Denis -- if he had found Denis to be townie, we would have thought he's trying to protect him, if he had found scum we would have thought he's trying to deflect the conviction on someone else. But what of the peeping Tom, or the other townies with actions? I can't believe that we're still arguing about Stanislav's last message without any more shred of information than yesterday. The current belief is that we have two mafia groups, which hasn't been proved but still appears likely. So there's no reason why a scum wouldn't want to get rid of their rivals. Indeed, which would confirm Elena as a true investigator. That would make Yan's and Samuel's investigations meaningless however. Stanislav mentioned two names, yet since the start you are hellbent on having us lynch Dmitri. I'm trying to find in your earlier comments what justifies this attitude, yet the only reason I can find is that he claims a night action. Can you tell us more about why Dmitri has been your only concern since the moment Stanislav died?
  6. I don't know if we should be happy that the scum didn't kill any of us tonight or take it as a sign that more sinister things happened in the background. Nika blowing herself up is certainly very unexpected. Is this a result of an action failing, or a result of targeting someone with a special protection? It's too bad we don't know who was the target, unless Nika shared this with someone else before she acted. As for the absence of scum kills, it does suggest a conversion although a first conversion on the 4th night would be unusual. This is the first time that the tommy gun killer didn't kill, so them being blocked or their target protected is something we should keep in mind. If there is still a blocker in this group, perhaps they have been lucky enough to target a killer. On the other hand, if someone was converted what would make the most sense in my opinion was that the scum have chosen one of those already investigated, on the grounds that they wouldn't be investigated again. That's what I would do anyway. Ruxana... this is the worst surprise that happened in this game so far. I just can't piece together how the evidence and Ruxana's behaviour fit with a townie alignment. She watched an improbable target just as they were killed by someone else? She had a weird combination of actions that duplicated the Peeping Tom abilities? I'm sorry that we have lynched her, but frankly I still can't understand how she can be town. Which does cast some suspicion on the Peeping Tom's revelations, although I'm not suggesting that they're scummy. The last thing we need now is to lynch another of our valuable townies. It's more likely that they were overconfident -- like we were -- in interpreting their results. But I still find strange the idea that this town had two similar roles in Ruxana and this Peeping Tom. Hopefully the poisoner will have chosen the right target today, and with their help we can shed some light on the current situation. We have multiple suspects but no solid ground for a lynch. Perhaps someone else will have interesting information gathered during the night.
  7. Well it would appear that the evidence against Ruxana is condemning, obviously as long as those who produced it can be trusted. A similar pattern of behaviour led us to a successful lynch yesterday against Donil, so unless anything major comes up: Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator)
  8. So much new information today, please bear with me as I feel the need to summarise in order to make sense of it. Do let me know if I miss anything. Stanislav -town inventor, can give out actions (according to Samuel, Wilem and Dmitri) -last message accusing Dmitri and Denis (according to Samuel and Wilem) -in contact with unnamed investigator who has investigated Samuel (according to Samuel and Wilem) -gives protection vest to Dmitri (according to Dmitri) Dmitri -claims town investigator; Stanislav, Samuel and Yan are town (according to Dmitri) Denis -was told about Stanislav's action by Samuel (according to Samuel and Denis) Petr -townie, killed by gun (fourth MO) Ruxana -seen targeting Petr last night (according to Samuel) -claims intending to track Boris (according to Samuel) Now my take on all this. I totally understand Stanislav to be suspicious of people who knew about his action, this knowledge making them prime suspects when he dies. We do need to keep in mind though that the scum could have had other reasons to want Stanislav dead, regardless of whether they knew about his action or not. Just like Eugene's suspicions shared with Petr before he was killed, we need to find out how Stanislav came to this conclusion and whether he was justified or paranoid. If we are to believe all the claims made so far, Ruxana is not only an unblockable tracker but can also potentially kill. Do we know if anyone else might have targeted Petr last night? And if so, why Ruxana would have felt the need to track Petr? Some explanations are in order.
  9. We're making good progress despite our losses, two scum in as many days is a good score. Still, the appearance of a new murder weapon is worrying. This is possibly vital information Samuel, but an inventor is not an investigator. Please go on, we deserve a better explanation than 'Stanislav told me'.
  10. I wish you all the best def! I hope you will have a little time for celebration in your busy schedule! Cheers!
  11. True, but that you are a potential killer and we can't take any chances in the matter. The role you claim is unusual and more likely to help the scum than the town. I don't know if you could really be both 'snoop' and killer, but perhaps you borrowed the idea from one of your fellow Mafiosi. Or we end up with one more townie death that could have been avoided. If you turn out to be town, then indeed you would be one unlucky townie, perhaps even a framed one. I'm sorry I can't find the information, but did you mention who exactly knew that you would be targeting Yuri last night? I doubt that Donil or Ruxana would have an action and also be a bomb. But I could be wrong of course. Is Catya more likely to be a townie, since no one (scum team members) pressed her to cast her vote? Perhaps we should shoot her a quick message to wake her from her nap -- which could became her last. --- become
  12. Irene, you are our hero today! Without your sharp observation skills quite a few undecisive townies might have died tonight. Perhaps a few scum too, but we can't assume that they wouldn't have figured this out by themselves. That's precisely what worries me. I understand that there is a chance Donil is innocent, and just happened to target Yuri just as someone else killed him. However, Donil's answer is that he can prove his innocence, and that he his plan involves Ruxana. I don't think there is a way to prove his innocence, even assuming that Ruxana is trustworthy. Now for the other options. Ruxana did come up with his night action result accusing Donil, when she didn't have to. I think that for a scum it's too risky a move, after all her claim can be disproven quite easily by voting off Donil. For that reason alone, for now I'm inclined to believe Ruxana is a townie. The fingers pointed at Stanislav came out of nowhere, and disappeared just as quickly. I'm not sure what this means, and whether he has been conclusively been cleared of suspicion. I simply don't have enough information to cast a vote in this direction. Barbara's accusation of Boris has an interesting angle, considering god's liking of cryptic clues, but I'm not sure if she has motives to focus on Boris among the three 'suspects'. Also, while she could be right, she may also be wrong and the image wasn't intended as a clue. In any case, this is something to keep in mind and come back to when the current situation is resolved. Given the information currently available, I will: vote: Donil (Waterbrick Down)
  13. While I still don't find Donil's role claim very convincing, I'd be willing to postpone a vote until he has a chance of being proven innocent, provided that: - there is a solid, foolproof plan to prove his innocence, and - there is no chance that he could use the time he's been given to kill someone else. You do realise that a scum will do anything to be given one more night in order to kill or help his team in any way he can. So I'm not going to let Donil off the hook until the previous two conditions are met satisfactorily. I don't ask that such a plan be made public, as it would only help the scum fool it, but at least that credible townies vouch that a logical solution has been found. As for Stanislav's case, I have a feeling that there's more going on behind the scenes that is obvious. Such a strong accusation coming from multiple directions is possibly backed by evidence I'm not aware of, so I'll wait for more until I decide how to cast my vote. -- than is obvious
  14. If it's a matter of choosing who to trust, I'd rather trust Samuel than Ruxana at this point. However, Ruxana's story seems to check out pretty well, so is it not possible that both tell the truth? Let's see how Donil explains his role in this mess. Just a thought... Petr mentioned being blocked on night 1 as well, so that make two blockers. Yuri was obviously on our side, so does that give the scum a blocker too?
  15. Wow. It's early morning and insults are already flying. Please calm down people, let's try to figure this out slowly but logically! I find it quite unlikely that Petr would be scum. Actually, the only scenario in which it would make some sense is that he was converted at some point and needs to maintain his high profile in order to be believable. But that too seems far-fetched. There are likely scum among both groups -- my theory is that some voted early in order to create a bandwagon, others waited in the wings to see if it would pick up. Then when the lynch proved more difficult than expected, they might have decided to take the penalty instead. So I wouldn't put it past some of the non-voters or Barbara voters to be scum as well. Frankly, I think Petr is over-simplifying the situation by assuming that all who didn't vote him should be cleared. While I understand that Yuri could have been killed in an attempt to frame Ruxana (or Petr for that matter), Elena's death is quite mysterious. As Stanislav mentioned a moment ago, we should consider that perhaps some of the actions were twisted during the night, and that Elena's death was a cruel mistake. Finally, there are some people from whom we haven't heard much yesterday -- or since the start of this ordeal -- and I hope that they will let us know them better today. In such a large group it's easy to go unnoticed for a time, and those who aren't taking risks by speaking out their mind must be reminded that they're not gaining trust either.
  16. Congratulations Phred! Hello as well!
  17. Don't mind the critics! I loved the dialogue and the night photography. People don't always realize just how much work a mere couple of shots can represent. Go Hinckley!
  18. Neither am I, but the least I can do is to cast my vote. While voting for Petr still doesn't feel to me like a good option, Stanislav may have hit something with his comment about how the vote thief appears to protect Barbara by focusing on Samuel. It may be mere coincidence, or it could be something more. In the current circumstances with very little time left in the day and pending any hard evidence, it would appear that this is the only avenue left to explore. Vote: Barbara (Bob the Construction Man)
  19. Well I guess this pretty much looks like the work of a townie to me, even though I don't think your plan would have worked. Anyway -- A nasty night action? I guess Yuri should explain this to us in detail.
  20. If I correctly understand your request Superkalle, then Peeron has a partial solution. For instance, if you search for a Brick 1x2 (part no 3004) and you want to know the year any of the colours this brick is available in have been introduced, just navigate to the bottom right of the page where Peeron displays a table with the chronology of all available colours. Then you can even click on a year/colour icon to search for sets from a specific year in which this brick was used in a specific colour. Voila! http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/3004 Oh, I see you want an automated way to find new combinations. In this case you still need to wade through the catalogue to find every new brick/color combination. So this is still not optimal. Nevermind!
  21. Good point. On the other hand, it has been suggested that some scum may be immune to investigation. ... which is exactly what you were saying. Sorry, read too quickly!
  22. I don't know what to make of this plan. Petr could be an over-eager townie looking to save his skin above anything else. I see no way in which this network was helping the town at all. Worse, it was designed to cast suspicion on people who may not be responsible for whatever happened to Eugene. Confusion and more confusion. I'm waiting for a further statement from Petr.
  23. Not specially, no. However Eugene appeared to know something about you, something that god himself told him, and only Petr seems to know the full story. It may be important, or completely irrelevant. But Eugene won't be coming back to tell us.
  24. I'm sorry for your loss Samuel, and I'm sorry for another loss to this town. Yeah, I guess the possibility of a conversion last night seems less likely now that we have another death on our hands. I'm all for voting, but I don't believe in double penalties. I don't think this poison is the work of god.
  25. I haven't finished analysing today's conversations, but I think a word of advice is required here. Since it's possible there has been a conversion last night, I wouldn't consider yesterday's behaviour alone in declaring someone townie. It's yesterday's most 'towniest of townies' who were the ones most likely to be converted, so constant vigilance is paramount. Also, a word of caution on those stolen votes -- not all those who are denied their right to vote may be townies. If this power is within Mafia hands, they may use it to clear some of their own, once the town establishes that the victims are likely townies. On the other hand I too believe that Samuel is a townie. It's just that we can't assume this for every other victim, until we establish who exactly this vote thief is.
