  1. Ping! daoudbazaar has done a review of the huge Atlantis set, Portal of Atlantis. In the review the possiblity of swimming over the defenses is discussed... ...but could you sneak past the Gatekeeper as well? Dive down to the Action Forum and discuss this important issue!
  2. Yeah, I've been laughing about the whole gates underwater thing for a while! But ignoring that I love this set and thanks very much for the review. The office and bedroom are a huge surprise. (I did some cleaning up of this topic. Sorry Siegfried, sok117, prateek, Svelte and WhiteFang; your posts had to go! ) I love those myself, but it's all a matter of different taste.
  3. Happy Birthday! For your Birthday I'll tell you a secret; when I first joined I used to use your daily post count as a guideline of if I was posting too much or too little...
  4. Please post local sales question in the BSTF forum. I'll move this there now.
  5. I am good friends with Barbarella Fortuneteller.
  6. Technic Space (Cheating I know, but I like them all!) Adventures Well there have been several year based ones, and some less specific ones, but all are rather old and reviving them now would be silly.
  7. On a similar note, I've been seeing the police station in Big-W for $87...
  8. To my knowledge TLG did not request EB to remove the image. We have two ambassadors on our staff so it's not like we're not contactable. I agree. It's why we've been pulling pictures on request or on prior warning.
  9. What's hard to see but can see you even when it's dark? What else but a camouflaged night fighter! Eat some carrots and take another look at the He-219 Uhu
  10. That is beautiful! I like your solution for the engine radiator covers.
  11. Thanks! I've embedded it in the first post.
  12. Please. Let's not celebrate the end of any specific wars. EB is an international site afterall.
  13. It's already retracted. You've just gotta believe...
  14. I went to this show as a kid; it toured in a local department store. Thanks for posting the pictures!
  15. Just got back from K-Mart. Mine has everything and from memory; 7569 Desert Attack $19 (RRP 17.99) 7570 The Ostrich Race $32 (RRP 29.99) 7571 The Fight for the Dagger $49 (RRP 49.99) 7572 Quest Against Time $79 (RRP 79.99) I'm not 100% on this one. 7573 Battle of Alamut $130 (RRP 139.99) So yeah... odd. Some up some down, but overall it's OK.
  16. I've updated the first post with all the information we have at this time. Actually it's not! Thanks just the same though!
  17. OK, I'm convinced at last; Macs are superior! (Thanks for the extra pics! )
  18. Well they didn't 100% make it up; here's Adventure at Space Center Houston; As you can see, it's not flight rated. There is also a test frame (steel and wood!) called Pathfinder, a (fiberglass) mock-up called America (supposedly dissembled) and another mockup called Explorer.
  19. Thanks for the review. I got some of these in my last order and I was pleased as well. Yes, this is the summary of most custom work; it's too expensive. Yes I understand why, but it doesn't change the fact.
  20. There are several, and while Adventure is on the side there isn't one with that name! OV-101 Enterprise (Not designed for space) OV-099 Challenger (Originally built as a test bed, destroyed.) OV-102 Columbia (First launch, destroyed) OV-103 Discovery OV-104 Atlantis OV-105 Endeavour (Youngest; first mission was 1992) (I'm hoping that there's a sticker sheet with all the names.)
  21. Err... because the USA and only the USA built, owned and operated this type. The closest any other country got was the USSR with Buran... ...which was similar but still very different. That's a dream set of mine.
  22. Thanks! Looking at this shows that... ...I'm right!
