  1. These are the scale of sets that TLG should release when the Pirates theme 'restarts' (which it hopefully will do). It has many set-like features and I really like the classic color scheme you've given it (and the bluecoat colors of course ).
  2. Welcome MetroiD, you sure look familiar. But I must be mistaking you for someone else. We've had one other equally talkative guy in here... haven't seen him in a while though.
  3. There's a 1 x 3 tile introduced in 2010. But agreed: small bricks, plates, and tiles are essential, and indeed, they're slowly finding their way back into sets.
  4. I don't think there will be a need for such a group shot as it will probably show up pretty quickly after the release of GE, which reminds me: Is the release scheduled for early, mid, or late March? I like the CC tag that the staff created for you. Really unique!
  5. That really looks impressive Hornbricker. Borrowing the 'checkered stripe' definitely was a good idea. Isn't there an easy way to break up the yellow and black a little? I don't have a suggestion at the moment, but the yellow looks a little overwhelming right now.
  6. I really like the color scheme you're using (tan/dark blue) and the work on the second floor windows looks promising. The stairs leading up there look a little 'plain' for a store though. Some railings might do the trick. Or you could try something like this (hope you get what I mean): -------------- ----+ +---- | |
  7. Thanks for the review. Although this seems like 'another truck', they do seem to get better every year, especially with the re-introduction of car doors this year. I sure hope mine - once I buy it - will also come with the new cap mold. Until now I only have it in red.
  8. The blue bucket in his avatar should be a give-away of who is responsible. Otherwise: check this
  9. Funny little story in an nicely built Lego-landscape. Those goats are cute...
  10. Instantly recognizable as a Derfel Cardarn with the use of hundreds of those 1 x 1 round plates. Really impressive church and the finishing of the landscape around the church (among others that low wall) is amazing.
  11. I'm amazed at what you managed to achieve on a 16 x 16 footprint. A really nicely detailed house that perfectly fits in the pirates era and the addition of the 'sewer level' really makes this a unique MOC. Very well done L-Space!
  12. Using it as 'alt'/'hover' text isn't actually what the 'acronym' BBcode is designed to do, but it sure works in that way.... Well just try them out... you'll see soon enough, but it itsn't too hard to guess by their names, there's even a guide here... centered text (code box was a little too annoying to try out here...)
  13. Looking good ... and looking forward to the final announcement and the package in the mail

    Hey!

    Welkom/Welcome to Eurobricks
  15. Very entertaining scene, full of cleverly built details and action. Also instantly recognizable as a true 74louloute...
  16. Ralph, nice that you took the time to write your thoughts on the issue down. I hope that this will turn out to be a useful and comprehensive resource for building minifig-scale vehicles. To hopefully stimulate some discussion, this has been blogged on Classic-Town.net.
  17. Thanks Jamie - and everyone else involved! - for creating and being responsible for and involved in so many great Lego sets over the past years. I hope the Exclusives line and especially the Modular Buildings line will continue..., well..., forever.
  18. Wow... I'm surprised at how you've managed to capture every important aspect of an arena with a relatively limited (in terms of space) 'interior'. Nice work.
  19. Happy B-day, my name-sharing fellow Dutchie.
  20. Welcome to EB and happy b-day. Never a bad decision to join!
  21. Wilkommen! Welcome to Eurobricks. Your English isn't that bad and it will surely improve by posting here.
  22. Good to hear people read Classic-Town.net Great use of the chassis Marcos!
  23. True Ralph style again, complete with the craziest half-stud offsets everywhere. You managed to capture the striping pretty accurately again. Well done.
  24. I just noticed my first title 'Our New Blogger at Classic-Town.net'. Your own (WhiteFang) and Bobby's (TheOtters') titles have changed as well. I bet you can write your own explanation with those...
