  1. Including you. It's why I set up my little beauty salon right here in Winterhaven. And what are you looking at? I'm a woman! Never seen a female bulldog before? Where's my Booookieeee?
  2. Voting in the Modular Madness contest is now closed. Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote and especially to everyone who entered. As indicated before, we're amazed at both the quality of the entries and the number of people entering. Expect the announcement of the winners soon.
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks Trijntje.
  4. Aaaaawwww, my Bookie. You're so... uhm... hairy. How about some waxing? Bookie? Why is that... uhm... male mechanic looking at you like that? I thought I was your one and only bulldog...
  5. We generally don't comment on staff decisions and we'd like to keep it that way. Thanks for understanding.

    Flickr redirect?

This suggests to me that it was trying to load lego.com/link-to-your-photostream earlier (instead of flickr.com/link-to-your-photostream, which you have bookmarked), as it is now loading the lego.com homepage (instead of flickr). And this would mean that flickr.com is somehow mapped to lego.com. This is the weirdest bit. I thought about a possible entry in your hosts file, but that wouldn't explain the temporary nature of the problem. I also considered problems with your ISP's DNS servers, but it would be a really odd coincidence that they somehow have mapped flickr.com to lego.com's IP address (and that it happens every month or so). So... uhm... no idea.
  7. The (outer) width of a Fabuland slide seems to be about 4 studs (the same length as the long side of a 2 x 4 LEGO brick). Duplo figures are 4 studs wide (which equals 2 Duplo studs), so I'm afraid they're not going to fit on a Fabuland slide.
  8. After the release of the 'Beach' set, pictures of two new Collectable Minifigure sets have now surfaced. One of them features a band of rockers and another one seems to tie in with the 2012 Monster Fighters theme and includes a new zombie figure. Discuss these new sets in the Special Themes forum. Thanks to Brickfanatics and Bricksan for bringing us this news.
  9. This really is an impressive build and definitely worthy of receiving that massive red brick. I didn't realise it fit in with the BW 2012 theme so well. I like the colour scheme of the pub itself, but especially all the attention to detail on the inside. The surroundings are also extremely well done. You got enough praise for the waterfall already, so let me just say that the landscaping around the pub is great. I like that you resurrected IMHOTEP for the occasion and of course you had to include Fabu somewhere. I really am.
  10. Thanks everyone for the really nice comments. Thanks Ru. She's a great driver. I wonder if that's going to come back to haunt me with the Forest II coming up. Uhm... rather flat. I'm... glad you like it. Building it for your birthday made it even more fun. I was looking for a place to add a frog and... he ended up on the road. Poor fwoggy never saw it coming. I'm sure he didn't suffer much though. Thanks. A classy panda deserves a classy car.
  11. Thanks for another great, and in-depth, review Pandora. What really makes this set stand out to me is that it's such a complete play set. As you already mention, there are so many different scenarios to be played. I'm amazed at the amount of detail (and accessories ) they managed to include yet again. In many respects the build is more advanced than sets in other themes and they even included a small Technic build in this. I'm also glad they stuck to using pink and medium lavender mainly for the highlights again. The colours used for the buildings are even more realistic than most City buildings. And yes, that camper van is just adowable. It makes me want to build one for minifigs. Looking at this set, it's no wonder TLG can't keep up with the demand for Friends sets, and it confirms again that they have really hit the nail on the head with this line. I wonder what set designs they have in store for us next year. But to keep things fresh, they probably need to introduce some new elements (at some point they are going to run out of colours to produce all those Friends-specific accessories in) and they definitely need to work on the minidolls' wardrobes.
  12. Summer of Friends continues on Eurobricks as Friends Regulator and Reviewers Academy Teacher Pandora reviews the flagship set of the Summer wave of Friends sets, 3185 Summer Riding Camp. Check out the in-depth review in the Town forum. Isn't that camper van just adorable?
  13. Happy Birthday Pandy! I hope you got lots of rattling boxes and other presents. I got you something too, you just have to unwrap it.
  14. Pandora Panda got a brand new Roadster for her birthday! Here she is cruising along, ... ... showing off the dark red leather interior and folding roof, ... ... opening doors and uhm... steering wheel, ... ... shiny front, ... ... and (headache-inducing) sloping rear and spare tire. Of course Pandora Panda had to really test the performance of her new Roadster, so she challenged Ricky Raccoon to a race through the streets and forests of Fabuland in his fast Hot Rod. All the Fabulanders came to watch the race and... see Pandora Panda win. Let's see if you can spot the obligatory Fabuland frog.
  15. Happy Birthday Ricey.
  16. Merged.
  17. Just to make things clear, HTML does not work on EB.

  22. It seems so. Why do you keep asking?
  23. Happy Birthday Index Master Mr. Town Archivist Twat Meister Phred! I made this pickle cake especially for you (and photographed it in the bathroom or something ). Have a great day!
  24. Happy Birthday Taz! I hope you had a great day.
  25. I don't have too much to add to what's been said already. I like how you used the dark green windows and especially the transition from the ground floor to the first floor. And there's so much to look at on the inside. The chandelier looks great, especially for such a relatively simple build. A blue orb... but that little basket with the knife and bones upstairs looks most ominous... Great build Hinck, and great to see the FBG alive and kicking.
