What would EB be without you? We're looking forward to what you will come up with.

Why are there spare parts in the sets?
Rick replied to benredstar's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I noticed, at least on one occasion, that polybags contain more extra parts (like you, I also encountered more than one extra 1 x 1 round plate of the same colour in a polybag). According to Bricklink, the flippers are pretty light (0.37 grams). The extra parts that are expected are actually there most of the time, so the weighting of sets seems to be pretty accurate. Maybe an Ambassador has the complete story? -
The EB staff try to make this forum an enjoyable place for everyone. EB is primarily a place for discussing LEGO and, while we do allow some other discussion in the Community and Culture & Multimedia forums, if you want to discuss Minecraft (or "defend" as you call it), you probably want to do that somewhere else. Also, as you can read in the Site Guidelines (linked to in my signature), any staff decisions are final and should not be debated in thread (as that will just steer the thread further off-topic). If you have a problem with decisions taken, feel free to PM the staff member involved. You have been warned repeatedly in the Cuusoo thread and here. Consider this your final warning.

Please don't start new topics just to post pictures of the set. Thanks. (Merged)

LEGO Certified Professional reload used approximately 200,000 bricks to recreate the Colosseum in LEGO. Check out how he managed to combine how this impressive structure looked in 80AD with how it looks nowadays in one build in the Historic Themes forum.

Feel free to enter it in category 1 of the contest.
-
Read this pinned topic. I'll merge this with the ranks discussion thread.
-
You mean a sigfig? Feel free to post in the Community thread I linked to.
-
Congratulations Fangy.

You're free to enter this in category 3, but given it's current dimensions I think it would be much more appropriate in category 2. Let us know if you want to change categories and we'll change the subtitle of the thread for you.

That's because you have less than 10 posts (see our FAQ) However, try again now.

It looks great, very much 'alive'. However, there is an overhang on the left and, most notably, the right side of the baseplate. This would not allow the modular garden to be connected to a modular building. I suggest moving the bench and tree away from the edge of the baseplate or 'upgrade' it to 32 x 32.

Merged with this very similar thread from last year.
-
Sorry, it fits in the existing thread perfectly, and I'm sure you'll get plenty of feedback from fellow LotR fans here. Merged.
-
Sorry, but we try to keep the forum organised according to theme. Moving...

To be eligible in our contest, remember to not just post your new avatar here, but to also set it as your avatar.

Ok, did you click on the first link? There are some names of stores listed there.

See the links at the bottom of the opening post of this thread.

We are a nice community and the staff try their best to keep it that way. Please refrain from posts like this and leave moderation to the staff (or the Fellows in this case, as they are moderators in Culture and Multimedia as well).
-
That's strange (you probably can as of 10 posts), but ok, moved.

He probably was posting at the same time as me, so that's why I decided to leave it alone. I understand both of your positions, but I really expect some more maturity from you both. Try not to offend people and don't be offended too easily (both of those points apply to the both of you). And now this really is the end of this discussion or we'll be having this conversation somewhere else. Hey, you know what? I'll even draw a line for you. There:

All of these comments are uncalled for. If you have a problem with someone's comments in a thread, please use the report button to alert the staff. And just to be clear, this post marks the end of this 'discussion'. Thanks. Now please get back to praising the new Friends theme.

I merged the topic you started with the game thread in Culture and Multimedia. Further discussion there please.
