  1. It's a world of WIFOM out there, and perhaps Li'l Scouty could be a more convincing scum than Li'l Trumpet. Having nothing to lose and little hope of turning the vote around, he would at least try something.
  2. I am aligned with town. Plus, it's less and less likely that Scouty is scum. There's relatively little time left in the day, no real alternatives to his lynch, votes piling up on him. What would a scum do in this position? Probably exactly what Li'l Trumpet did yesterday: admit he is scum, in the hopes of getting in touch with the other scum team. I don't know if the sting yesterday was useful in any way, but scummy Scouty would have nothing to lose at this point. He would have to get in touch with someone and determine if they're telling the truth before the day ends... so that leaves little time. Yeah, I think that a real scum would have done something by now. Opinions?
  3. "While we're trading, Hal do you mind if I reclaim my Smoke Bomb? I don't think you will need it now. Now where are all the other Proggs gone? They're up to no good I'm sure. We'd better find out what's going on in the city." OoC: Oh wait, the smoke bomb is still in my inventory. But I believe I have used Bomb XX so it should be removed.
  4. While we all enjoy revisiting a great MOC, I think that bumping a two year-old topic to add a four word comment is inappropriate. Please read this for more bumping guidance on Eurobricks.
  5. Galen stares at the Emperor's carcass, trying to remember the details of the long fall as if he had just awakened from a bad dream. "Sylph, it is 120 gold after all. You can split my portion of the gold among yourselves, I have stolen enough from Eidolon to satisfy my immediate needs. I do thank you for the mead though." Galen freezes when he sees Roni. "What... What were you trying to do up there, foolish mage?"
  6. Well this is a difficult day. There's not much to go on as far as I can tell, and if there was solid evidence against anyone it wouldn't be made public in the interest of keeping scum teams from uniting. I find it's early in the day and in the voting process for Li'l Scouty to give up, which is perhaps more the attitude of an isolated townie rather than that of a scum member who has a team to support and supporting him. Were he scum, I would also have expected at least a vote in some other direction by now, which hasn't happened. Unless Scouty was the only partner of our now departed friend Li'l Danny. That could explain the negativism, but I will admit myself that it's a far-fetched theory. And to reflect Li'l Palathadric's musings, I don't have suspicions to share at this stage beyond my statement of yesterday concerning Li'l Nightshroud. I think I will go and have a nap with my highly collectible Tom Cruise F-14 pilot action figure and see if anything comes out of it (the nap, not Tom Cruise).
  7. "Didn't I tell Hal to be careful? I did, and he wouldn't listen. Now see where that got him. Oh well, at least we still have Phoenix essence, but the battle isn't over. About the fall... I spied that Eidolon has a Phoenix Incense. Assuming that we can get it from him, if even only one of us survives the fall he can revive the others and we'll all be happy as clams. Now, how to make sure that one of us survives?"
  8. Galen didn't have an answer for the Emperor. They certainly weren't the same heroes that had started out on this quest. In such a short time they had fought battle after endless battle, becoming stronger in the process. They were only humans... well, humanoids... but Eidolon wouldn't take that for an answer. "What is Mythrogg up to these days? Where should we send our condolences on the loss of his sons?"
  9. Well you said yourself that scum would have been pretty dumb to fall for such a ruse. Even had Li'l Danny been dumb himself -- and I don't mean to say that it is the case -- someone on his team would have advised him against taking such risks this early in the game. I still think that Li'l Danny died because he said very little and therefore was one of the most unreadable players. He would have made a valid default target for an otherwise uninformed vigilante. While it would have been possible for Danny to start out as town and be recruited right before he died, it's not in my opinion the most likely theory. I doubt scum would start by recruiting one of the most inactive players, already attracting unwanted attention for that very reason. I believe that Danny has been scum from the start. Whether him or Trumpet had any night actions is something we might only find out at the end of this ordeal.
  10. "This was a lucky round! I'm glad that we're all still alive. Perhaps we can still make it! Now Hal, please be careful in your dealings with Eidolon this time, no need for more lightning bolts." "Maybe you could enquire about dinner, it has been a long day!"
  11. Hopefully we will hear from the people he planned this sting with. Some of us mentioned yesterday that Li'l Danny wasn't speaking much, so it's possible that the vig chose to kill him for that very reason. I'm not sure what scum would have gained by targeting Danny instead of someone else.
  12. You could post a link, but embedded photos are always nicer! Have a look here for a flickr tutorial.
  13. Galen cries out to Sylph, falling freely at some distance from him. "We won't make it at this rate, we can't kill Eidolon before we hit the ground. We don't need to cut off all of his limbs, and I'm afraid there won't be enough time for that anyway. Maybe when the second Gauntlet is gone, I can focus on the rubble?"
