  1. The tiles are printed AND the printed tiled ARE the inverted ones from the mech set. Kinda sucks honestly.
  2. I think your guess as to where the pics may have come from... A LEGO site by amending the URL might be correct, however, we should stick to discussing the sets, the movies and the pieces and not how to burrow deepet into other sites in this thread.
  3. Slow your roll DearhLeech! All will be revealed over the next weeks. I agree with Etzel... I think LEGO might have more up sleeves. Etzel- do you know the language of the thrush-bird? Is it telling you secrets?
  4. I see we have a lot of people interested in the sets as movie accutate... Not me. I always look at sets as MOC part packs. How about the MOCers? What sets/parts do see as the best for MOC elements? I have my eye on Merkwood first, Warg second and Unexpected meeting third. Let's here it MOCers!! Edit: Ha! Looks like DC and I are on the same page... How 'bout the rest of you?
  5. I am not surprised at all seeings how I liked yours best! In my personal top three- I also thought Gabe and Torgar's entries were really awesome, and had some of the strongest builds, but I think they were hurt a little by the similarity to other entries or existing factions. If either of them would have won, I would have been equally pleased. I also realy like Ecc's (great work with the figures), soccerkid's (well thought out story) and Legonardo's (great artwork!) entries too. I am glad I wasn't the final judge since there were so many strong entries!
  6. I did house work and some CH5 work. Because I have watchtowers for all the other guilds, a MikeyB 5th guild tower might need to be built! Got fit that in with the new history regulator stuff... Wait... I mean... With other EB stuff.
  7. Yes. Indeed. Looks like that site will preview some other sets as well. October 15th will be Goblin King October 22nd will be Riddles for the Ring October 29th will be Warg Battle November 5th will be Escape from Merkwood Spiders November 12th will be Barrel Escape First post will be updated with the information! I also added the Dwarves that I believe are included in each set. I think I they are correct. Looks like LEGO put the rhyming names together- Kili and Fili in the Merkwood set and Gloin and Oin in the barrel set.
  8. We lost the Victory declared post! Oh noz! MikeyB was the victory. Sirens was the ultimate decider so only he can speak to the closeness, but there WAS disagreement between the guild leaders as to who's was best. There were several others in contention.
  9. haha. Oh Code Monkey. Love it.
  10. That visual is funny. CBB is indeed a very productive GoH member and a valuable member of Avalonia. I think he'll come around.
  11. Ha- we totally already discussed that! Thanks for keeping your eyes peeled! We know of two other accounts in his household. Gilence and Fireworm. I joked we are going to see Gilence enter a red and black tower in Challenge 5.
  12. It feels like a mix of Migardia, Avalonia and Kalphlin. Very cool.
  13. The modular is released in MARCH every year and they keep it under wraps for as long as possible. No sense it ever thinking about this until after Xmas.
  14. Nice call. You out funnied me for sure!
  15. Shoot... I was hoping my +6 dexterity and my "charm" skill would suffice.
  16. It's not your birthday until tomorrow in the US... But I sent you a present today anyway... Sort of...
  17. Happy Monday! I was outta town Saturday, so I missed the big day!
  18. What is this girlfriend thing of which you speak? Can I find one in the enchanted forest?
  19. Well then... I do respond to Susan- but only 'cause I am nice like that. Aren't we burying the lead here? Don't we need to figure out what SoT was talking about?
  20. Oh yeah... we have name abbreviations up the big behind- and what's worse- some of them don't even go with the screen names anymore! SoT- Sirens-of-Titan (Stathems-of-Titan) ISC- I Scream Clone (I Scream Stallone) Si- Si-MOCs (Sly-MOCs) DC- Derfel Cadarn (Cardarnold Schwarzenegger) ZC or Z- ZCerberus (ZClaude Van Damme) BB or CBB- Captain Beerbeard LD- Legonardo Davidy (Legonardo) dG- de Gothia Ecc- Ecclesiastes dd- darkdragon S&C- Siercon and Coral I am sure there are more... yeah... I guess it is a cultural thing.
  21. I have used varitions of that border many times. It is TOTALLY fine.
  22. SoT invites everyone to come along... come along to where? Codes and secrets. Historica won't end after the challenges do, Avalonians still have thoughts and plans, but maybe some of us would enjoy an official challenge break and wouldn't mind branching out into a new theme.
  23. Still time for other entries- but I really like this one. Maybe I am just a sucker for dark red- I don't know- but this is rockin'!
  24. Border is certainly "reasonable overhang" so long as it is only a couple plates thick. Just be "reasonable" and you'll be fine.
  25. Stupid phone. Does NOT need to be square... Nonsquare is all the rage.
