Actually I'm more like a possessed puppet; I can move a bit, but ultimately CopMike is pulling the strings.

New Windscreen 7 x 4 x 2 Round detailed pictures
Siegfried replied to Dennimator's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Snub ships I like... snub canopies, not so much! Stuff like this... ...won't work as well IMHO. As it is the "bubble" effect works... adding the do-hicky-thing-me-bob at the front would ruin the flow of the lines. (Look what you've done to me; now I'm talking about "flow" and "lines". Next I'll be buying a murse...) -
What a cool idea! I'm not into this kind of stuff so I have approximately zero interest in the set, but it's still cool just the same. On the other hand, it coud be useful for backgrounds.... Japanese do such cool stuff!

New Windscreen 7 x 4 x 2 Round detailed pictures
Siegfried replied to Dennimator's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's a nice and smart piece mod which will make that piece more usable... but it's weird (and rather annoying) that TLG seem to be replacing the old. Luckily I have loads of that canopy. (I changed the title to avoid confusion.) -
Did anyone like the old/early Bionicles?
Siegfried replied to knuclear200x's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I loved the old Toas, and I was very disappointed when the Technic functions were removed. -
Ahh, but I programmed the list and in CopMikes absence I have discretionary powers... Congrats to the winners so far!

By The Fans, For The Fans: The Great Spirit Set
Siegfried replied to -Tilius-'s topic in LEGO Action Figures
Really? I've never heard that TLG don't like petitions. They've never complained to us about them... and let me assure you TLG complain to us if they have an issue with what we do! We even front paged this one. I'm going to look into this... in the mean time, please keep it on topic. -
Indeed you were, but I still like you. Welcome back and I hope it works out better this time.

Sorry about the late reply, but I do! True they are air breathers, but they can stay underwater for around half an hour, which is longer than many dolphins. So yeah! It's time for a new walrus! I'm really looking forward to getting some of these!

[Comic] De-Classic-Space (Episode 1a)
Siegfried replied to Siegfried's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Indeed it is. The funny thing about this comic is that I was originally going to make it three panels as I knew I'd find it hard to make a lot at the time. (In summary, they would have been Crash, Annoyance... Revenge.) But silly me kept expanding what I wanted to cover and thus I needed to expand the start... and I really haven't given enough yet. I still plan that to be the rough outline of Part 1, but the opening isn't as simple as first planned. Thanks for the bump! In short, Part 1b is delayed because of the move I mentioned. Since I need to make MOCs for the next part it's been on pause. It is still my primary project though. My new place has a bit more room so once I'm set up I should be able to get back to work. -
No! I meant the theme itself... To me it's very Action-Orientated and the same idea as Agents, which is very like James Bond. I don't think so; I think it's just longer legs and arms. IMHO the worst thing about 4+/Jack Stone was the un-configurable figs. That is, they don't come apart. I doubt TLG would make that mistake again.

In the past they used to, and the set isn't that old. I've heard of spare parts given for 10 year old sets. Besides, the set doesn't have too many specialised parts in it. In any case it's worth a try.

He distracted Darth with a chocolate carrot allowing me to drop a bucket of red paint on him.

I have the set and I didn't have any assembly issues. Check the parts list and if you're sure it's wrong contact TLG.

Big Cam was first to say this. I apologise for stealing his thunder, and I swear I will do my best to not do so again. I didn't know that! I think I didn't get serious about LEGO again until late 06. I did know he said that, but I never found the source. Now I know why!

He was promoted as he needed to do polls for the Clone Wars Building Contest.

No, CommanderFoxy is the only one. The simple fact is this; most people either never hit that level, or get promoted/banned before they do. Well, it's a secret, so I'm not going to tell you... but it's easy to work out. Here's a hint. If you want the answer, you'll have to tell me this; why are you so interested in post counts and ranks all of a sudden?
-
Oh, is it Staff Bump Topic day? Hmmmm.... Now that's out of the way.... err.... sorry? I must have been busy when you posted this. We look pretty bad now don't we? You post... ...and you only get one comment. It's really cool! Seriously! I was hoping to make something similar for my wife on our anniversary, but due to moving there was no time. I would have been proud to have something like this to present on the day. (Where's the globe itself from?)
-
That's my point; 4000 posts in 20 minutes. Darn spammer. Let that be a lesson to you guys.
-
He spammed a lot so he had his post count reduced as a penalty.
-
Sure we do; see? Do you have someone in mind?

Please note everyone that it'll always be around this time. I had it at the start, but the discussion topic was merged with the entry topic. I'll make a new post now...

Is EB still an exclusive adult site?
Siegfried replied to The Crazy One's topic in Forum Information and Help
We haven't relaxed the rule at all, but I did re-write it recently to highlight that the age itself isn't the be-all-and-end-all. In other words, someone who is 25 can be banned just as easily as someone who is 15 if they don't act mature. We decide that standard. But please note that in most cases someone will be warned at least once prior to banning. Well I don't think so, because I wrote it! Yes. The key goal of EB is to have a LEGO site where adults can discuss their favorite hobby without immature rubbish like; "100 posts; w00t!". The fact is unlike other hobbies like cars, LEGO targets kids more than adults so we need to be clear of our intended audience. This will never change.
