  1. I just merged them. The title had a few miss-spellings; that's probably why you couldn't find it.
  2. Thanks. Yeah, things are still a mess around here, but I'll have time to sort most out tomorrow.
  3. Is it the 20th for you guys too? According to me it is! That's really cool!
  4. I'd like that too. But I'd be happy with any real military plane...
  5. Why everything! Especially Steven Spielberg taking the photos.
  6. Beware the powers of the Dark Santa... (Yeah, it's lame. I'll see if I can do better in a few days. )
  7. Yes, the Walrus Keeper has been taking good care of me that long. But it seems like only yesterday when we were married, and I remember it so well that I built this 100% realistic re-creation of the event today. (I wanted to make something more epic, but we just moved 1000 km to a new house and my LEGO is still a disaster... )
  8. Actually neither plane was German; the bi-plane was a British De Havilland Tiger Moth and the "fighter" was a Pilatus P2 trainer. Both were supposedly borrowed from the Swiss Air Force. I wish they did make a Messerschmidt; I would have bought the set then.
  9. Yeah, it's OK for you to keep that link in your sig.
  10. Depends. It should be LEGO related, but it's probably better for everyone that you just had a subtle link in your sig instead. What's the site? If it's the one in your sig already then it's OK. A little big, but OK. Also, joining EB and promoting your own site in your first (and only) post is really bad form IMHO...
  11. How old are you? I could arrange you moving to Bikini Bottom if you want; I have some chains and a few bricks handy...
  12. Welcome to EB! Please note that the Website & Forums section is about EB matters only so I'm moving this to community to avoid confusion...
  13. Nice entrance Ja7on! Welcome to Eurobricks! I'm really liking this set! Purple, another Squid, thrusters... what more could I want! Thanks for the review.
  14. New member Ja7on has brought us a new review of the Space Police set, 5982: Smash'n'Grab! Look; thrusters! Find the full review here.
  15. I can't say I like the model very much, but I still haven't got a fire station, and I like the new parts, especially the new hydraulic ram system. (Is it one piece?) I'll probably get this one if the price is right. Thanks for the great (and early) review! The comparison shots are pretty funny....
  16. Short for the most part, so I voted short! (Some themes, such as Technic and Duplo, are too different to vary so I didn't count those.) Short themes mean that I can build up a display, and then guilt free break it all when that theme dies. For example Exo-Force and Aqua-Raiders; I was keeping it all together, but when space was needed for Power Miners in the sorting bin most went! Short themes mean that you end up with a greater variety of colours and parts too. Popular themes can (and will) come back so it's not that big a deal when they end, and it's LEGO anyway; if you want more sets make them yourself!
  17. Very nice! It's amazing what can be done when building at such a small scale. I like the warbird!
  18. I hope they don't. I'd be rather annoyed if the Transblack changed. It's my preferred colour. As others have said, pearl is not an issue.
  19. I don't think so. IMHO it makes sets more cost effective, and several would have been impossible without Technic. Besides, Technic has been around for a long time and is arguably more "LEGO" than many other parts. Even so, I do agree that a few sets have been a Technic box with extras, and as a result look horrid from certain angles. For example, 8108 Mobile Devastator... I am rather surprised by the poll results. ( Yes it is [ 15 ] [24.59%], No it isn't [ 16 ] [26.23%], It's a good balance [ 30 ] [49.18%]) I would have expected more against.
  20. Thanks for the great review! You take very good photos. There's a copy of this set on sale in a local store and I've been eyeing it off!
  21. All LEGO sprues I keep and use them as fillers or LEGO "rubbish" to fill things like dump truck. Yes! I miss them...
  22. I keep what I'm working on as handy as possible, but unfinished MOCs are put in one of those blue LEGO crates.
  23. 889 Radar Truck Yeah, I'm the same. Mines in my "I'll break this if I have to" bucket, but I keep looking for parts elsewhere...
  24. Indeed. I just read the same myself. It's very good news... although at the current rate of space exploration I'm starting to doubt I'll even see a second moon program.
  25. I don't think it's over, and I made that my vote, but I'd love Romans or Greeks.
