If I may suggest, one solution would be to use the About Me page in your profile. It can be structured in the same way as your signature, it's one click away from wherever you are on the forum, and it doesn't have any pic/link/size limits. Well there probably are limits, but it's certainly not as restrictive as signatures.

See, I don't care if the police forces in my City have no guns, or that the burglars have none either, or that rioters have nothing to throw at swat teams. That's because I don't care about depicting that sort of scenes in my Lego creations, I don't have thieves, armed gangs, I don't even have police forces, swat and whatnot. They're not a part of my daily real life, and even if they were I wouldn't them to contribute to my hobbies. Unrealistic maybe, but soo relaxing!

Happy birthday to all and -- as our birthday tiger would say -- I'm a conformist!!

Hmm this was answered just a few posts above.

This is what you're looking for.

That's a very difficult question to answer, LegoBuilder. It all depends on what you need to feel confortable, that will vary a lot from person to person. If your MOCs focus on one theme in particular, you might need lesser part variety before you feel like you have all you need. If you plan to build huge MOCs, then obviously you will need bulk quantities of pieces. You will probably want to start with smaller MOCs and get bolder as your collection grows, instead of trying to buy everything at once -- unless you already have specific projects in mind. In any case, the answer to your question is very subjective, I have less than 10,000 pieces in my post-dark age collection and I'm already more comfortable than when I started with my first set. But I feel like I will never be fully satisfied, there will always be more pieces that I would like and more sets on my wanted list. That's addiction I suppose! As Flare suggested, Bricklink is a great online source to buy from if you have specific needs in mind. Otherwise, I'm sure that we have members from Singapore that will give you good local tips. And welcome to EB! Edit: One more suggestion to get started: you could try to buy a set or two that are good parts packs, like 10185 Green Grocer for instance. It's great fun to build, and will give you a good variety of parts for you to play with and try your hand at smaller MOCs. Once you have an idea of what you want to build, then you can order what's missing, either from Bricklink or by buying more sets. Again, it all depends of the theme you want to MOC in, that will define the kind of sets you should start with.

That's terrific Big Cam, thanks! Lots of material for the blog these days!

Aww come on, 'Voodoo Doll of Utmost Doom', that sounds so Bionicle or whatnot. You're right about the Lord part though, it does sounds inappropriate. 'Emperor Fugazi' I shall be from now on!

Awesome photos, thanks guys! That's a lot of tan cheese slopes... And the bridge does open!

Excellent entry! The Star Wars adaptation is a great angle! I must say though, the red wig is not exactly flattering, but hey Redcoats are never afraid of ridicule. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sleep with that huge raspberry!
-
And I thought it was Blue and Beautiful! Thank you sir! Your bribe is on its way! I was told Redcoats also played a lot with dolls, of the blow-up variety. When camels are unavailable of course! Nope, we're stuck with them... Thanks for all the comments!

Don't get him started on the die issue ahah! Excellent review once more! I don't feel as drawn to this game as to Oriental Bazaar, but there are nice parts to be had here too. I was growing fond of the microfigs, I'm a bit disappointed they were replaced with soulless submarines and a weird statue this time around.

I know the feeling! Welcome to EB, enjoy your time here!

Fornificate? LiBiDO? Woody Shrivelle? Climax generator? Wahaha Never mind the MOC, the description is worth the ticket! EDIT: I won't ask about the of acronym of Space Homeys Interstellar Technologies™...

Thanks for your kind words! The moon was a pain to build, but I really wanted to have that part in the comic. Thank you sir! That doesn't apply to crabs, of course! Well that's what the tournament is all about, and it's all meant in a friendly way of course!

I voted no. I know that most Lego themes already have some level of suggested violence or confrontation, but I applaud TLG for not having introduced that sort of crap in the City theme. I know that many kids crave for that sort of stuff, but I don't and I have no interest in buying such sets. There are plenty of resources for Lego guns, including other Lego themes and third-party manufacturers, there's no need to add them to the City palette. In the same vein as not offering modern military sets, I think that having violent subjects in the City theme is mildly disturbing and too close to reality. And I'm proud of TLG for not doing like every other toy company. I know it probably won't change anything about how kids are exposed to violence everywhere, but it will change my adult view of TLG and the sets I will choose to buy.

Casting a Redcoat as a 'HEY' figure was the most cruel and humiliating torture I could think of! I hope you enjoyed! And thanks to Shadows for the use of some of his custom decals!

Tournament of Retribution II Entry: Round two.
Fugazi replied to General Redwater's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ahaha! This is awesome General Redwater! I never expected to have such an interesting death, and supreme honour to become the last of the Bluecoat generals! To think that I will never see my dear Fugazi farm again, and all that because of a pink teddy bear! At least I got a spell in the pool! Very entertaining story, I love it! -
Is it really never too late to introduce oneself? Maybe I should try and write something up! Belated welcome to EB Cecilie!

What about Arjay Walk? Got it? No? Jaywalk... Ok I'm too funny for this forum...

Welcome to the forums legomama! Thanks for the tip... I tried it, it works just great! Lots of customisation options!
-
OOooh! I've never seen so much pink stuff! Brilliant, great idea! And I'm honored to be part of your excellent story, sir!
-
Ahaha this is awesome, certainly action-packed! Crushed by a skydiving galleon, how about that for an original death! Way to go Skalldyr!

Naaah, just like to wear short dresses. Makes for more powerful farts when I'm stuck in an elevator with a Redcoat Did I just say that?
